HDR Writing Retreat

HDR Writing Retreat

Mon 29 Nov 2021 09:00 - Fri 03 Dec 2021 17:00

Ramada Diplomat (Griffith)

Calling all HDR students! PARSA invites you to a writing retreat held in the beautiful and relaxing Ramada Diplomat in Griffith.

The focus of this event will be to create a supportive and inspiring environment to enable each participant to focus on their own writing practice.

Running in the second week of the University break, each day will begin with goal setting, with the core of the day structured around ‘shut-up-and-write’ style writing blocks, and finishing each day with some reflection. A full day of delicious catering will also be provided to get your brain fuelled!

Choose your writing goal – whether it be starting a draft of a new chapter, reworking a current one, or transforming a chapter into a journal article – and come get it done with supportive and like-minded colleagues.

When: Monday-Friday, 29 November - 3 December, 9am-5pm (You can pick and choose which day(s) to attend. If you can come for the whole week, that would be fantastic!).
*If you are unable to stay the full day, please advise us by emailing parsa.events@anu.edu.au
Where: The Attache Room, Ramada Diplomat in Griffith
