PARSA End of Year Celebration

2020 has been a year for the history books. Most of us have been affected in some way but we are also proud to see the strength of our community, the resilience in our students and the support and kindness that our community members have shown in helping each other through this unprecedented time.

2020 has also been a huge year for PARSA. We have provided $687,000 (and counting!) to support students in financial hardship through our COVID-19 Emergency Grant, opened the PARSA Cycles shop, successfully held our very first TEDxANU and welcomed in a new PRC. Due to social distancing restrictions, we have moved our popular events online and also launched new online events to enable our students from anywhere in the world connect, such as Online Trivia Night, PARSA Spotlight and Online Study Sessions.

To celebrate the end of a challenging year, PARSA is pleased to invite you to our End of Year Celebration on Thursday, 26th November 2020. Our theme is ‘Summer Vibes’, so put on your Summertime Soiree and come say hello to summer!

This is also a great opportunity to meet and chat to our new Executive Team and the PRC. We'll provide food and a DJ so that you can dance the night away! Come along and create memorable moments!

The live event will take place in the Manning Clark Hall. Given the social distancing restrictions, we will be streaming the event in Marie Reay Teaching Centre, Toad Hall, Gowrie Hall, Graduate House and Ursula Hall. Food will be provided across all venues.

Time: 7pm-9pm Thursday 26 November 2020 (registration starts at 6:15pm)

This event will include precautions such as physically distanced seating arrangements, electronic collection of contact tracing details for every ticket holder, hand sanitisation stations on entry, increased cleaning of public spaces and high-touch surfaces, and staff and volunteer training in COVID safe procedures.
