Dialogue with Distance

Dialogue with Distance

Fri 17 September 2021 18:00-19:30

Online

Studying online this semester? Looking to enhance your online communication and collaboration skills? Then join us on Friday, 17 September from 6pm-7:30pm (AEST) for our Dialogue with Distance workshop.

Hosted by the Culture Group, this workshop provides a powerful learning experience that helps to bridge the distance of remote engagement to better collaborate, listen and collectively problem solve when working/studying remotely.

The session is run virtually, ‘in the dark’. Simulated darkness and absence of visual cues heightens other social skills such as listening, tone of voice, volume of speech and the words we choose, developing empathy and amplifying leadership styles.

The program facilitators are extreme users of dialogue and all live with vision loss or blindness. Dealing with the loss of this sense, they are experts in communication, collaboration and collective problem solving.

So, are you ready to collaborate through distance? If so, please register for this unique and exciting event here: https://www.trybooking.com/BTVTO
