PARSA Premier League - Badminton

PARSA is excited to announce our very first season of ‘PARSA Premier League’, in collaboration with ANU Sport!

PARSA Premier League aims to build stronger community bonds within our student community. We hope to vitalise your body and mind through the series of games and further strengthen cooperation and resilience among our students. It is also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded students while playing your favourite sport.

For our first season, we will be hosting three competitions with ANU Sport — Badminton, Soccer and Cricket.

PARSA Premier League – Badminton

It will be a fun and yet competitive day—there will be 7 doubles games and 1 single game happening at the same time! Take your racquet and show us your ‘good-minton’ skills!

You can either sign up to play solo or doubles. You will be matched with an opponent (and a teammate if you are playing doubles) on the day.

The first team for doubles will receive a $100 Prezzee Gift Voucher and 2 trophies and the first singles team will receive a $50 Prezzee Gift Voucher and a trophy!

When: Friday, 16 April, 9am-3pm

Where: Old Hall – ANU Sport

Price: $5 per player

*Please bring your own badminton racquet. A shuttlecock and net will be provided at the venue.

COVID Safety Information:

This event will include precautions such as physically distanced seating arrangements, electronic collection of contact tracing details for every ticket holder, hand sanitisation stations on entry, increased cleaning of public spaces and high-touch surfaces, and staff and volunteer training in COVID safe procedures.
