Join us for a walk to the Black Mountain, the Canberra landmark, and explore the amazing views on the summit!

Black Mountain is known for its biodiversity — it houses 100 species of birds, 500 species of plants and 5,000 species of insects.

We will be taking the Summit Walk as a start. The Summit Walk is a 2km steady climb to the summit. It takes around 2 hours for a return trip. The route of Summit Walk can be viewed here.

When: Wednesday, 3rd March, 4:30pm-8pm

Meeting Point: Kambri Bridge

Where: Black Mountain

The event is FREE. Tickets are limited—register now!

Please bring your own water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothes for walking. A snack will be provided — make sure you put down your dietary requirements when registering.

Please note that the trial does not have disability access.

COVID Safety Information

1. This event will include precautions such as physically distanced seating and standing arrangements, hand sanitisation stations on entry, increased cleaning of public spaces and high-touch surfaces, and staff and volunteer training in COVID safe procedures.

2. Stay home if you are unwell.

3. Get tested if you have symptoms of COVID-19.

4. Stay 1.5m apart.

5. Maintain good hand hygiene.
