Led by UnitingCare Kippax, the Canberra Relief Network (CRN) is a consortium of established emergency food relief and community services organisations in Canberra. They are working collaboratively to streamline the sourcing and distribution of essential food and hygiene items to the most vulnerable members throughout our community.
Their mission is food security. They aim to ensure access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets the dietary needs of individuals and families who experienced food insecurity before the public health emergency as well as those who have been directly impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.
All ACT residents are able to access food hampers if they are in need, and the Canberra Relief Network has trained phone operators who are able to refer callers to other relevant services.
If you are struggling to pay for food at the moment, please register for the Canberra Relief Network. We have been informed that they currently have a turnaround time of 2 business days.
