The 2009-2010 Federal budget includes $51.7 million to increase APAs above the poverty line and 72.7 million to provide Austudy to Masters students. A definite win for all Australian Postgrads! The APA increase will take effect in 2010, while the Austudy for Masters students, however, unfortunately doesn't come into effect until January 2012.

Due to the large amount of building construction work that will occur near Fellows oval a decision has been made to temporarily close the oval and use the western side for contractor parking.

This grocery shop is presently being constructed near University House and is also close to the PARSA offices.

The excavation work for this new multistorey building is presently taking place. It is being built between the Crisp building and the Drill Hall Gallery.

Approximately one hundred units consisting of studio, one bedroom and some two bedroom units will be built on the site near Dickson Rd and close to Ursula College. This complex will comprise of five levels.
